From a very young age I knew that I wanted to make a living in the visual arts. Spending hours hunched over Spongebob and Scooby Doo drawing books birthed my interest in creating. Peering through my telescopes into the inky black sky of rural Indiana blossomed my natural curiosity about the world. A desire to make and a desire to know my surroundings and the people in it are the two forces that propel me as a designer and artist.
From a very young age I knew that I wanted to make a living in the visual arts. Spending hours hunched over Spongebob and Scooby Doo drawing books birthed my interest in making things. Peering through my telescopes into the inky black sky of rural Indiana blossomed by natural curiousity about the world. A desire to make and a desire to know my surroundings and the people in it are the two forces that propel me as a designer and artist.
Designing for good is my ultimate aim. I want to see that my work is contributing a net positive to society—be it educational, humanitarian, healthful, or otherwise.
